Photographing cars is as close as I can get to to photographing people, without actually taking a picture of a person.

When we get in our car its body melds with ours. When we choose a car to buy or modify one to suit our preferences, it’s as personal as choosing an outfit or getting a tattoo. Parting with a car we’ve driven for a long time feels like saying goodbye not just to a friend, but to a part of ourselves.
