Money from above

The other day taking photos I was drawn to the sound of some very good banjo playing. My ears led me towards the music where I found the busker in the photo. I didn’t have cash smaller than a $20 so I didn’t want to go stand there and feel lame for not tossing him a couple bucks so I sort of wandered around nearby. After a couple minutes of playing I noticed a small crowd beginning to gather on the balcony above his head. Soon, money started raining down from the balcony. For a banjo player! I used to play the banjo so this was heartwarming to see. The banjo player didn’t know whether to be miffed that he had to stop playing to collect the money or to be appreciative. As he looked up though, I could hear people saying “Sorry bro!” and giving him encouragement to keep playing. He did. More money rained down.
